Bonnie was born and raised in Massachusetts and spent several years in northern Vermont attending college. In 1972 she moved to the Chicago area working in banking after the birth of her son, Ryan, and with senior citizens and children of all ages at a very active park district for several years. The family moved to Clemson, South Carolina in 1988 where she started working as a receptionist in a small animal clinic. In 1990 her husband's job again transferred them to the middle Tennessee area and they settled in Murfreesboro. Bonnie acquired a job at a small animal clinic working as a receptionist and learning the ropes of veterinary assistant, surgical assistant and office manager. In 1998 she "retired" and spent time traveling and visiting with family. She joined Animal Medical Center in 1999 as office manager and has enjoyed meeting all the animals and owners that come to the clinic.
Bonnie lives at home with her husband of 24 years, John, her father-in-law, Ed, a Miniature Schnauzer, "Sheldon," a cat, "Girlfriend," and a Sun Conure, "Skittles." In her spare time she enjoys car racing, reading, traveling the Carribean and her two grandchildren, Liam and Lordus. |
